Founder (Mrs. Alka Arora Singh)One of the guiding lights for today’s generation is a humble and enlightened soul, Mrs. Alka Arora Singh is married in the tender age of 20 yrs. Her husband, Sardar Arvinder Singh lovely is a graduate from Delhi University. Mrs. Alka Arora Singh has two very talented children. Her daughter Miss. Jaskirat Kaur is 21 years old and her son Mr. Kunwar Harjinder Singh is aged 19 years.

She is known for her commitment towards social causes and a keen interest in upliftment of the weaker sections. Being a sensitive person towards these underprivileged Mrs. Alka Arora Singh comes across as an inspiring social activist. She has gained extensive experience and a distinguished insight in social make up and its needs. She has felt the pulse of a common man. She is aware of problems faced on day to day basis, by various strata of Indian societies and has been striving to minimize them to her level best. Being a keen student of art she understands the astute craftsmanship of the tribal artisans which moves her to take their talent and products to higher levels and showcase them on a bigger platform than in India. Thus empowering them financially and socially. One of the most significant and privileged moments in her life has been that of meeting the Founder ( Mrs. Alka Arora Singh)noble soul Mother Teresa in Delhi. It did not take any moment for Mrs. Alka Arora Singh to get inspired and motivated by Mother Teresa. These blessed moments have added light to Mrs. Alka Arora Singh’s life and her purpose in life.

Being a humble person she doesn’t speak much about herself. Few things many don’t know about her are that Mrs. Alka Arora Singh was born on 29th august 1964. She is a graduate from Delhi University. She also holds a diploma in textile & dress designing. Mrs. Alka Arora Singh is fluent in Hindi, English & Punjabi. Along with social work she is passionate about reading. Her other interest include playing Golf, exercise and learning music.

She has been interested in active Rotarian named Delhi South East and contributed in upliftment of the many needy. Soon she joined the rotary and has been serving the community. Mrs. Alka Arora Singh has been involved in many events pertaining to children and women. She has emphasized on their personality development and welfare. Few of these programs and events include drawing and painting competition which was conducted on children’s day of 2009 in south Delhi and picnic trips for the school students. She has been a very kind lady and this aspect of her noble self is seen through her activities like providing essential utility items for the poor. She initiated an event in collaboration with b.s.e.s. Khanpur division wherein blankets and clothes were distributed to the poor. Also she organized a cricket match for tsunami victims and helped them get their life back on track.
